Education

 

Matt received his BA from Bellarmine University, and after 8 years’ service as a U.S. Naval Officer, he received his JD from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law. While in law school, Matt received a number of awards and scholarships, and served on the Law Review in which his student note was published. Matt came to PCNM from the law firm Stewart, Roelandt, Craigmyle and Lynch, and is a member of the Kentucky and Louisville Bar Associations, and the Lawyers Coordinating Committee of the AFL-CIO.

Credentials

Matt focuses his practice on labor and employment law and has represented labor unions and individuals in state and federal courts, before the National Labor Relations Board, Merit Systems Protection Board, the Kentucky Personnel Board, municipal civil service boards, the EEOC and Kentucky Commission on Human Rights, and in labor arbitrations. He regularly advises labor unions and individuals on their rights and interests under contracts and various state and federal laws.
